The Organization

POLY-CHAR is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization devoted to create a friendly environment to share information, organize student exchange and cooperation, to hold international meetings and to provide a platform in the field of Materials Science, in particular Polymer Characterization and Polymer Materials Science and Technology, for scientist from all over the word disregarding where they are from. An important goal of POLY-CHAR is to offer a forum for PhD students and young researchers to create their own scientific networks and experience a true scientific community. POLY-CHAR is rooted in polymer synthesis, characterization, processing, application, recycling, education and its environmental/social consequences.

Poly-Char Awards

  • Conference presenters should register their candidature for awards (4) to (7) at least 3 months before the conference.
  • The Award Committee will call for nominations of awards (1) to (3) from 1st Aug – 30th September each year (or at least 9 months before the conference). Evaluation and shortlisting of the candidates will be made before 16th December (or at least 5 months before the conference).
  • ONLY those applicants who have registered, submitted the abstract and paid the conference registration fee or with waiver of conference registration fee will be considered for awards (4) to (7).

  • Applicant must be less than 40 years of age before Day 1 of the conference.
